"5 Years of Modern Funk" is a collection of some of the amazing artists we’ve had the pleasure of working with since the 2014 launch of Austin Boogie Crew Records. From the jump we've set out to be an independent label specializing in modern funk and showcasing soulful, synth-heavy, club-friendly new music.

This compilation highlights dope musicians taking inspiration from 80's boogie and branching out into electronic, R&B, hip-hop, and indie sounds. We're proud to push a diverse group of artists from all over: Sweden, Canada, New Orleans, California, New Jersey, and of course Texas.

Previously these tracks were all released separately. "5 Years of Modern Funk" is a chance to get a great sampling of our catalog in one spot.
